How We Approach a New Project
28 Aug 2026 · 1 min read
Every project we take on moves through the same five stages — not because creative work is a formula, but because skipping straight to "design" without doing the first two steps is the single most common reason branding and web projects miss the mark.
- Discover — listening to the business, the market, and the people the brand needs to reach, before anyone opens a design tool
- Define — turning that research into a clear position: what the brand stands for, who it's for, and how that should look and feel across every touchpoint
- Design — concepts explored in range, then refined in depth, built as systems rather than one-off assets
- Build — identity becomes artifact: sites get built, guidelines get written, files get organized
- Deliver — work handed over ready to use, documented and built to be carried forward by your team long after the project ends
The part clients notice most is usually Discover and Define — because it's the part most agencies rush through. We'd rather spend real time there than hand over a beautiful design that solves the wrong problem.
